This challenge was great for me because it helped me figure out what my body needs food and workout-wise. It opened my eye to the fact that it’s not that hard to balance the two while maintaining a satisfying relationship with food AND looking BOMB.

Once you flip the switch and decide to put in place healthy eating habits (alongside three workouts a week), having a treat is actually okay and there is in fact room for it. It doesn’t always have to be iced with guilt!  

Finishing the challenge gave me a tremendously satisfying sense of success. My abs are shredded. My arms look nice and buff as I jump rope and I can KILL 50 double-unders in a row.

The key to this program was definitely the fun workouts at Element and the support of everyone else doing the transformation at the same time. I love our crew.

Before coming to Element, I would get tired just walking up the stairs. Everyday it was becoming more obvious that I needed to lose weight and get back in shape.

After I lost 25lbs, I couldn’t believe how much more energy I had. I’m an electrician by trade so I’m on my feet all day and it blew my mind how much easier it was to just move around.

Honestly, the hardest part was getting started, I sat around for about a week before I actually committed to the challenge. But once I got started, it was easy to follow. It was still a lot of work but the emails laid it out clearly so you can just follow the plan.

The biggest thing I realized is that it’s not so much of a big change but a bunch of small ones. Now that I prepare my food ahead of time, it’s such a stress reliever because I don’t have to think about what I’m going to eat.

I have to be honest – I was kind of dreading doing this challenge. I have tried weight loss programs before without much success because I usually give up after a few weeks.

But doing the challenge with the whole gym was a different experience. There was a built in support system and people that I was accountable to, so it made sticking to the program so much easier than doing it on my own – it was great to know that I wasn’t the only person saying “no” to the tasty treats people keep bringing to the office!

Plus, Steve was always available to answer my nutrition questions and offer encouragement – I actually reached out to him for some emotional support on a few occasions and he never let me down! I ended up having a great experience and I am really happy with my results.

It’s not just about looking good

Let me tell you about one of our long term clients, Ben.

Ben has been a part of our community for more than 5 years. He even came with us when we moved the gym downtown.

Like everyone, he has had his ups and downs and while he has always the loved people and the workouts, he just wasn’t seeing the results he used to get.
