Cindy did 3 back to back Transformations and lost 19 pounds in 5 months!
“Before joining Element Athletic, my main source of exercise was running. I was running several half marathons a year, but I still wasn’t losing any weight. I was starting to think that, as a woman in my mid-forties, I was just going to have to learn to live with my excess belly weight and chubby arms.
Then a friend of mine recommended that I try out Element Athletic. I was hesitant at first, as I’d seen videos of super ripped looking people making chin ups look effortless, while I, on the other hand, can only do push ups from my knees. I put off trying out the gym for awhile, as I was worried that I wouldn’t fit in.
When I finally got the courage to give Element a try, I was relieved to discover that the gym caters to people of all fitness levels. The trainers, Levi and Steve, made me feel welcome from the beginning. They pay attention to everyone in class, providing feedback on form, and congratulating you when they see improvement. The other clients are friendly and encouraging as well.
My weight loss really kicked into high gear when I joined the 6 week Transformation Program. I managed to drop 11 pounds in 6 weeks and I was thrilled with my results. I was feeling comfortable with my new way of eating and really enjoyed the workouts so when the second Transformation Program opened up I thought, “why not? Let’s keep it going.”
I was excited to continue because I’d finally found a way to lose weight without ever feeling deprived. I’m still able to go out with friends and have a few drinks, as long as I stick to the plan most of the time.
I’ve now done 3 Programs in a row and I’ve lost a little over 19lbs total. It’s been almost a year since I first got up the courage to try out Element Athletic, and I can honestly say that I wish I’d done it sooner. Since that time, I’ve dropped a total of 25 pounds and have gone from a size 10 to a size 4 in most dresses and pants. I still can’t do an unassisted to chin-up to save my life, but I am definitely feeling ‘stronger every day’. “
