Jeff lost 16lbs and dropped 3 pant sizes!

Before the transformation I was lost! I was working out regularly, getting adequate sleep and eating healthy foods but I wasn’t getting the results I was looking for. I felt strong but always had a “spare tire”. I was aware of sayings like “You can’t out-exercise a bad diet” or “Abs are made in the kitchen” but I just didn’t seem to get it!

Then I started the transformation. I set goals, followed the program that was laid out in the regular emails and I started tracking everything I ate with the MyFitnessPal app. I quickly learned I was getting too much of a good thing, like the handful of almonds in my daily breakfast smoothie that was adding 400 unexpected calories to my waistline every morning! The regular emails were like a map that guided me to my goals and they clearly set daily or weekly objectives that were achievable and kept me working toward the targets I set in the first week.

At the end of the 6 week program, the results were amazing! lost 16lbs and dropped 3 pant sizes; I figured out portion sizes and reduced my unintentional overeating; I realized that, with a little planning, a reasonable Friday night dinner with my wife could still include a few glasses of wine without wrecking all the hard work I had done in the rest of the week; I was motivated to spend more time working on my jump rope technique and put in a few extra reps on the chin-up bar; and the structure and support from the whole group at Element helped me maintain my habits, even over the holidays. This program was flexible and fun which made it easy getting to the gym for 6:15am workouts!
